| Gina Vanacore established her own cosmetics company, 2 Shine
Cosmetics, in 2005 and is a leader in the beauty industry throughout
New England. With eighteen years of experience working with
major cosmetics lines such as Chanel and Trish McEvoy, Gina has
developed a company of her own that will truly rival anyone of
the national cosmetic brands in both application and quality.
The focus of Gina's mission, backed up by incredible products,
is to bring out the inner beauty of every woman. "All
women have a beauty of their own," she says, "but
it is my job, as a professional artist, to find that inner glow,
that inner spirit of beauty, and enhance it. I am a firm
believer that all women can wear all colors, despite the misconception
that they are either a warm or cool palette. Anyone can
wear any color, as long as it's done right. I am a myth
buster and it shows on the faces I create. Color isn't
the only consideration. Using the right tools is very
important, the products must have good texture, easy application
and of course, most importantly, deliver desired results.
Without all of that, a woman won't be convinced it works for
her."
Even as a child, Gina was fascinated with makeup. "As
a young girl, I used to sneak to the bus stop wearing makeup.
My father used to show up with a wash cloth to wipe my face,
much to my embarrassment before my classmates."
But, luckily for her clients, she is not easily deterred.
Her passion for color and the art of making faces look beautiful
has never ended.
